Alterations to St.Aidan's (Glenavy) interior.
The alterations are now complete. The bishop of Connor, the Rt. Revd. Alan Abernethy, came to our service of dedication on 21st February, when we gave thanks to God for the provision of the facilities, and called to God to lead us in their use to His glory.
There is now a foyer where you can take pre-school children during services, with some toys and books for you to use. The foyer is also used for coffee and juice before the Family and Informal Services (3rd and 4th Sundays each month).
The other end of church has been slightly modified to create more open space suitable for modern variations in worship. In addition, there are now updated heating, lighting, and sound systems. Multi-media screens have been installed.
